Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS) enables sellers and tool vendors to exchange data with Amazon through an Application Programming Interface (API) – thus minimizing the amount of manual clicking and typing sellers would otherwise have to perform.

Q: I am a developer and I need to link my developer account with someone else's seller account. What should I do?
Only the owner of the Selling on Amazon account can authorize the link between their account and your developer account. You can work together with the owner of the Selling on Amazon account or you can contact the Amazon MWS team using the form at https://mws.amazon.com/contactUs.html.

Q: How can I upgrade to a Pro Merchant Selling on Amazon account?
Go to http://www.amazonservices.com/content/sell-on-amazon.htm?id=hm1 and sign up for a Pro Merchant account.

Yes- any Amazon seller can register as a developer and self-enable their own seller account for use with their AWS developer account.

Suggest that your tool vendor or partner integrate with Amazon MWS. We believe that in most cases the advantages of MWS will be compelling enough to convince your tool vendor to support it.
